  Wow! I wasn't expecting to be the first to review such a wonderful experience! The hosts - Lila and Ken are at the end of the day just plain decent human beings. They are honest people that will bend over backwards to assist. I travelled by bicycle with my 3 and 5 year olds' along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. They not only picked me up and dropped me off from the point of completion for the first day, but they drove my car back to town to the point of completion for the 2nd day. This was Anzac day, mind you, and they already had commitments at the local RSL feeding the participants in the Esk Parade. Personal stories aside, the accommodation is clean, tidy and comfortable; Should you choose to have the dinner and / or breakfast, you will not be disappointed; Ken and Lila criticise themselves for over-catering - and this is the truth. We were there on one of the evenings that they prepared a "simple" barbecue meal, and nothing could have been more perfect. Twilight Grove Farm also host a variety of accommodation types. You may choose to camp, or may be more comfortable with bed & breakfast style accommodation. They also cater for horses and pets should you require it. I suppose lastly, I should state quite honestly that before Ken picked me and my 2 kids up from the roadside 24 hours ago, I wouldn't have known him from a bar of soap. This is a plug, but it is from pure customer experience - not because I have a vested interest - although I do wish them well. Thank you Ken & Lila. Orlando has already requested that we bunch the next 2 legs of the rail trail together so that we can come and stay at your place again!
